I am an experienced, capable and dedicated educational change agent, highly motivated, with initiative and a track record in setting strategic direction and leading transformation. Researching curriculum and technology innovation and change are my passions.

As an educator with passion, I work as an educational consultancy services to the education sector in curriculum development, integration of technology, and Professional Learning to teachers, focused on inclusive education. I am about helping passionate educators, be the best they can be, promoting not only learning but a lifelong love of learning, creating inclusive environments that authentically models the kind of world we want for our children.

As part of my consultancy, I have undertaken some exciting projects including project managing the implementation and operationalization of Bluegem Software for an Australian-wide Registered Training College, part of a team to develop an Industrial Design curriculum for a women’s only University in Dammam, Strategic business planning for degree programs within an Australian University, Corporate Governance training for the start-up University in Uganda, and providing PD to support the implementation of online learning at a University, as just some examples of my work.

My educational background.

I have been working in education since 1987. In that time I have worked as a teacher (K-12), education researcher, educational/instructional designer, teacher educator, professional development coordinator, senior education manager in various educational institutions, a private education consultant, in recent years a small business owner, and as a website designer and developer – including the use of web analytics. The image of the mosaic above tries to capture that. It does appear slightly ordered and gives a sense of control, but in reality, the image shows the boundless opportunities that exist, hints at other areas, and suggests places where I might add more tiles and grow the mosaic as I grow my experiences.
